Being one of the first people, outside my own drafts, to read any part of The Larson Chronicles is a small ask — and it's also not nothing. You'll get the first three chapters of The Grade Shift, read them the way you'd read any book for pleasure, and afterward answer a few short questions about pacing, characters, and how it compares to others like it. Your answers go to me directly, not into a form.

I'm building a small, hand-picked team for this round. Early readers can be young readers themselves or adults who love middle grade and YA fiction — but since many of our readers are kids, sign-up and all correspondence happen through a parent, guardian, or teacher.
